Colour Personality Quiz — privacy notice
Nail Deck is operated by SOZOCO Pte Ltd. Nail Deck's Colour Personality Quiz helps you explore nail colours and finishes. This notice covers the quiz and Cleo's related emails, not every activity on our website.
Taking the quiz
You can answer the questions and see your colour personality without subscribing. The quiz keeps those answers in the current page; it does not send them to our quiz records unless you submit the signup form. Closing or refreshing the page clears that quiz state. This does not switch off ordinary website hosting, cookies or analytics outside the quiz.
When you subscribe
We collect your email address, your first and last names if you choose to provide them, your four quiz answers and your colour personality. We also record when you subscribed, your consent wording/version, a submission reference, recommended products, voucher details and delivery/processing status.
We use these details to prepare and email your personalised colour recommendations and eligible $5 voucher, send Nail Deck promotional emails such as offers and launches, answer questions, honour your marketing preferences, and prevent duplicate vouchers and accidental repeat emails.
Cleo is Nail Deck's automated colour guide. Recommendations match your answers to a reviewed product catalogue and current availability. They are style suggestions, not a skin-tone assessment or a promise of a particular result.
Where your information goes
We use Google Sheets and Google Apps Script to store and process submitted profiles, Zoho Mail to deliver Cleo's emails, and Squarespace to check products and manage discount codes. The quiz workbook is not shared publicly. The current voucher integration sends a discount code and its terms to Squarespace, not your quiz answers or email address. Visiting a product link or placing an order is a separate interaction with our store.
We also use Cloudflare to host Cleo’s unsubscribe page and receive unsubscribe requests. When you open or submit an unsubscribe link, Cloudflare processes the protected identifier in that link and connection information such as your IP address and browser details to provide and secure the service. The identifier does not show your email address, but it is linked to your quiz subscription in our records. Our unsubscribe page sends the identifier to our Google Apps Script service to record your choice. We do not send your name, email address, quiz answers or product recommendations to Cloudflare as part of this unsubscribe process.
These services may process information outside Singapore. Authorised Nail Deck personnel and service providers supporting this workflow may access information needed for their roles. The current quiz integration does not upload your email address or quiz answers to advertising-audience platforms.
Your choice and unsubscribing
The signup button clearly asks you to subscribe to promotional emails as well as request your colour edit. If you prefer not to subscribe, choose “View results without subscribing”.
To stop Cleo's promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in an email and confirm your choice, or contact cleo@naildeck.com. This stops future promotional fulfilment through Cleo, including a quiz recommendation email that has not yet been sent. It does not automatically erase existing records or change subscriptions handled by other Nail Deck mailing systems; contact us if you want help with those too.
Keeping and correcting information
We keep submitted profiles and processing records for the purposes described above, including resolving delivery issues and administering the one-voucher-per-email offer. An unsubscribe does not automatically delete them. We retain a protected email-derived identifier to remember suppression and voucher issuance; this is not an anonymous record.
